The K2 Mindbender 120 BOA® ski boot combines lightweight touring construction with micro-adjustability for superior performance on both resort and backcountry terrain.
Featuring a 120 flex, Powerlite Shell, and BOA® Fit System, it offers responsive control and a custom fit. The 50-degree range of motion in walk mode and MultiFit™ Last provide excellent versatility, while the FastFit Instep ensures easy entry and exit, making it a suitable choice for skiers who demand comfort and performance in all conditions.
The liner is laceable, pre-molded, and lasted with Ultralon heat moldable foams. It features an asymmetric tongue, a high-density power collar, and a flex notch for increased range of motion while hiking.
Removable and interchangeable ISO 23223 alpine rockered soles are collaboratively designed to work with Marker’s Grip Walk binding system for better grip and added comfort when walking and standing in boots. This design does not compromise the power transmission and release function between the boot and binding when skiing. These are preinstalled.
Softer TPU material is used in the instep area of select models' shells for quick and easy entry and exit.
The BOA® Fit System delivers dialed-in performance and a micro-adjustable precision fit. It consists of three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, lightweight yet extremely strong laces, and low-friction lace guides, which are applied in uniquely designed configurations to improve the fit and performance of the boot.
Tech fittings in the toe and heel are fully integrated into the shell injection, allowing for compatibility with both tech bindings and alpine DIN bindings.
The MultiFit Last was developed in conjunction with the BOA® Fit System to accommodate a variety of foot shapes ranging from 96mm to 104mm, eliminating the need for multiple last options.
K2's highest-performance shell design, the Powerlite Shell, utilizes shell walls of varying thicknesses and four different types of TPU to provide the ultimate combination of light weight and responsiveness.
A performance-oriented walk mode designed for ski touring offers a 50-degree range of motion. When in ski mode, Powerlock Spyne provides a powerful and secure connection for uncompromised downhill performance.
Both the boot's shell and cuff are capable of being heat-molded to a variety of foot shapes for a true custom fit.
The boot board traps heat and insulates like a down jacket, retaining heat 15% better than traditional boot boards.
